Bonneville Post Office was established on February 2, 1911 with Harry C. Slack as its first postmaster. It was discontinued on July 15, 1913. It was re-established on February 21, 1920 and discontinued again in January, 1944. It was established for a third time in July, 1947 and discontinued on December 30, 1964. Its mail was then handled by the Shoshoni Post Office.
